I’m Yoshiya, a Japanese photographer and filmmaker. For the past decade I’ve worked between New York, Los Angeles, the Middle East, and Japan. My short films have been shown in festivals across Greece, Italy, London, and elsewhere.

I believe the most powerful images come from paying close attention to ordinary moments and real emotions. I try to approach every project with that same quiet curiosity and care. To find the sacred in the mundane.
