NYC Protests - Summer of 2020

That infamous year.

The summer of 2020 in New York City was marked by widespread rioting and intense protests, many of which I personally witnessed on the streets of Manhattan. During this turbulent time, I photographed one of the largest demonstrations that powerfully reflected the city's growing unrest and demand for change. This chaotic period underscored the deep and persistent divisions within American society.

This collection of photos is in no way intended to glorify or romanticize the violence and unrest that took place that summer. Instead, it aims to highlight the importance of honest dialogue and debate in today's world. Regardless of one's political or religious orientation, fostering conversation and dialogue is essential, even when disagreements are frequent and deep.
